We hold our biggest philanthropy, “Mock Rock” at the end of winter term. Mock Rock is a week long event that the living groups on campus compete in. The groups accumulate points for donating money, participating in theme days: Letters Day, Dress to Impress, Beaver Gear, and Mock Rock Shirts, buying the Mock Rock shirts, and participating in the Lip Sync.

The Lip Sync is the accumulation of the week long events, and is held at the La Sells Stewart Center. There are raffle prizes and 80% of the proceeds stay locally with Plain Talk and CARDV (The Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence) with the remaining 20% going to Kappa Delta’s national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America. We have been helping prevent child abuse locally and nationally since 1981.
